Q. Can anyone practice yoga?

A. Yes, yoga is for everyone regardless of age, sex or religion.  There is a common misconception that you have to be flexible to practice yoga, this is not true.  Flexibility is a by product of a regular practice, not a pre requisite.


Q. What should I wear?

A. Loose comfortable clothes that you can move easily in.  Leggings, tracksuit bottoms or shorts with a t shirt or sports top are ideal.  We practice bear foot.  It is a good idea to bring a blanket or wear layers of clothes in order that you do not get cold during the relaxation.


Q. Is it ok to eat before class?

A. Ideally you should not eat a large meal 4 hours before class or a snack 2 hours before class, unless you have a medical condition that requires you to do so.  


Q. Do I need my own mat?

A.  No, mats are provided although if you do have your own you are more than welcome to bring it. 

 
Q. What time should I turn up for class?

A. For your first class please arrive 10 minutes before the class start time to allow for filling in a health questionnaire.  For all other classes please arrive 5 minutes before the start of class.


Q. Do I need to book a space or can I just turn up?

A. As the class size is limited to 12 it is necessary to pre book a space.  To do this please contact Tracey

Q. Where is The Retreat Spa?
 
A. It is in Stratton opposite the carwash and Aldi in the industrial estate.  For a location map please click here
 
Q. Is there parking available

A. There is ample free parking outside the Retreat Spa.  There is also a cycle rack at the end of the building.
