My name is Tracey Whitson and I began practicing yoga in 1999 starting with Iyengar, which focuses on precise alignment in postures.  Two years later I found Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga, which is the style that I have been practicing ever since.  It is a dynamic form of  yoga that focuses on the synchronicity of breath and movement.

Through my years of practice it is clear to me that yoga is a powerful tool to help us cope with the stresses of everyday life.  It brings a sense of
ease, contentment and joyfulness; however hard it is to step onto the mat, it is always worth it.

My teaching style draws on my own practice and that of the teachings I have been fortunate enough to receive.  Classes are disciplined and light hearted, challenging and joyful.  There is no 'one size fits all' each student practices wherever they find themselves on any particular day.

I began teaching in 2007 and qualified as a British Wheel of Yoga teacher in 2008.

With love and thanks to my many teachers especially Danny Paradise, Lino Miele, Christopher Gladwell, Simon Chandler and Bev Sowerby.
